Design Charades & Album Cover

This project was created as a part of my SCAD course in Ideation, Models, and Processes. The task was to find a handheld object and create a design object that allows the viewer to guess what it is without directly showing or telling them.

My object chosen was a rubber duck. I wanted to evoke the feeling of a duck floating on the top of a bathtub. I made a resin mold that resembled water and shaped the words of the Rubber Duckie song from Sesame Street in the shape of the duck meeting the water surface.

I later took my design and turned it into an album cover for the Rubber Duckie song.
